History of Klamath County

Klamath County is the fourth largest county in Oregon, with more than 6,100 square miles. The region boasts an average of 300 sunny days per year. Winter sports abound in ice-skating, cross-country and downhill skiing, snowmobiling and snowshoeing. Three ski resorts, Willamette Pass, Mt. Ashland and Mt. Shasta are located within 90 miles of Paradise Hill.
